Looking for a unique and enriching activity for your child to engage them during school vacation? Our Kids Pottery Workshops in Needham, MA offer the perfect blend of creativity, learning, and fun! Designed for kids ages 8–12, these interactive workshops let young artists explore the world of pottery through engaging, hands-on projects.

These workshops will spark creativity and confidence in your child as they are guided through hands-on pottery workshops that teach kids real ceramic techniques like hand-building and glazing—while having fun and making lasting memories + keepsakes. Kids will take home 8 or more beautiful, hand-built creations that are waterproof and food-safe.

Location: Pottery with a Purpose Studio –178 Crescent Rd, Needham, MA. There is easy parking for drop-off and pick-up!

Dates: Pick one or attend multiple sessions so they can build on their skills! Limited spots available to ensure small groups.

Notes: Sessions may not run if there are less than 4 sign-ups. You can choose to be refunded or to transfer to another session.

Pieces will be ready for pick up 2-4 weeks after the workshop ends. We will hold pieces for 30 days to be picked up, after which they will be recycled.

Pottery with a Purpose is a woman-owned, responsibly sourced business that curates and delivers a crafting opportunity through pop-up pottery classes that is the equivalent of a hands-on, tech-free “pause” button.

Samira Cook is a passionate pottery teacher and artist with over four years of experience teaching art. With a background in early childhood education and a CDA (Child Development Associate) certification, Samira brings both creativity and professional care to her teaching. She is also First Aid and CPR certified, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for every child she works with. Whether guiding toddlers or teens, Samira is dedicated to helping young artists explore, experiment, and grow through the power of clay.
