Event & Ticket Cancellation Policies
Event Cancellations
- Events are subject to cancellation up to their start time for reasons such as emergencies, inclement weather, scheduling, and more.
- Should an event you have a ticket for be cancelled, you will be notified as soon as possible. When notified, you will have the choice between the following remedies:

- Transfer your registration to the new date or to another workshop. Please note that you may be subject to additional fees for any difference in price between the workshop you originally selected and your new selection.
- Request to have one of our beginner-friendly air-dry pottery kits shipped to you (one per ticket) for at-home clay play. You can send your request and your preferred shipping address(es) to hello@potterywithapurpose.com.

Ticket Cancellations
- Tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE, but are transferable to another event date until 72 hours prior to the event. There are no exceptions to this policy.
- If you are unable to attend an event you have a ticket for, please reach out to hello@potterywithapurpose.com prior to 72 hours from the start of class to reschedule your class date. Please note that you may be subject to additional fees for any difference in price between the workshop you originally selected and your new selection.
- If you are unable to notify us prior to 72 hours before, you can choose between the following remedies: 1) gift your in-person class ticket to a friend or family member or 2) request to have a pottery kit sent to your home address. You can send your request and your preferred shipping address to hello@potterywithapurpose.com. Please note that you may be subject to additional fees for any difference in price between your pottery ticket and the pottery kit.
Product Return Policies
Pottery Kit Return Policy
Pottery with a Purpose does not accept returns or offer refunds unless the kit or accessory is damaged or defective. Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. My kit is damaged, missing items or didn’t show up. What should I do?
Uh oh. Sorry about that! We strive to get your order right every time but sometimes we make mistakes. If your order contained damaged items, was missing items or didn't show up, we're here to help! Please contact us via email at hello@potterywithapurpose.com with your order number and a picture of the damaged item (if applicable).
My ceramic pottery blew up or cracked in the kiln. Can I get a refund?
There is a small chance that your piece(s) of pottery made with ceramic clay could blow up or crack in the kiln; this is the nature of ceramics and entirely out of our control! If a piece of your pottery cracks we, unfortunately, cannot issue any refunds. If you are curious to learn more about why your pottery may have blown up or cracked in the kiln or you would like more info on how to help avoid this happening in the future, send us an email at hello@potterywithapurpose.com.
