What you'll experience:

  • Learn Pottery Basics: Our expert host will guide you through essential handbuilding techniques, helping you sculpt your own unique creations from clay.
  • Step-by-Step Instruction: We’ll walk you through every step so you can create functional pottery like vases, plant pots, mugs, oyster plates and much more.
  • All Materials Included: We provide everything you need - clay, tools, and materials - plus, we’ll glaze and fire up to 2 pottery pieces each in a white or clear glaze to make them waterproof and food-safe.
  • Pottery Trivia & Prizes: Flex your pottery knowledge (or guess your way through) and win goodies from local small businesses.
  • A Refreshing Drink: Enjoy a complimentary non-alcoholic beverage from our curated selection.
  • Take Home: Your finished pottery pieces will be ready for pick-up 4-6 weeks after the class. We’ll hold them for 60 days; after that, they’ll be donated or recycled.

  • 2 hour workshop on pottery basics, including how to create pinch pots, coils, and how to transform them into a variety of unique handmade gifts, home décor and functional pottery
  • You'll make + take home up to 2 pieces of pottery each
  • Firing and glazing of up to 2 pottery pieces each so the are waterproof + food-safe
  • Pottery trivia with prizes

What You'll Learn
  • Basic pottery techniques, tips + tricks
  • How to add surface decoration to your pottery piece
  • The pinch pot technique, and how to  make your pot into a variety of items like mugs, vases, hanging planters, candle holders, trinket dishes, and whatever else you can dream up!
