Description

It's the season for self-care & earth love! Treat yourself to this planter pottery class at Rooting for You in celebration of Earth Day! It's your chance to finally learn pottery, and to sculpt your own planter to hold your beloved plant babies!

Our expert teacher will cover all the basics, and with step-by-step instructions, you'll learn to handbuild a pinch pot and how to transform it into a variety of functional pottery pieces like a hanging planter, a vase, smiley planter pal, a drip tray for your pot, and more.

Saturday 4/26 from 12-2PM at Rooting For You (520 Kendall St, Cambridge, MA 02142)

Come early or stay after class and browse Rooting For You's selection of plant and plant supplies. Rooting For You is a family-friendly venue. Children, when accompanied by a guardian, are welcome to register.

Each ticket includes:

2 hour workshop on pottery basics, how to create pinch pots, coils, and how to transform them into a variety of unique handmade gifts, home décor and functional pottery
You'll make + take home 1-2 pieces of pottery
Our signature 'Beginner Pottery Kit' which includes everything you need to make your pottery during class (and yours to take home to create more after class!!).

Note: You can let your piece of pottery air dry then paint it with the included paint. Or, to make your pottery waterproof + foodsafe, click here to upgrade to ceramic pieces, which includes glazing and firing of your creations.
