We are looking for people to teach and assist with in-person, beginner handbuilding pottery classes at cool local-to-you venues. We organize the venue, handle all logistics and provide all necessary class materials. You host class.
Being a class host or assistant is perfect for folks looking for a side gig that offers a very flexible schedule. Ideally, folks will be available to teach and/or assist 3 or more classes per month with evening and weekend availability, and occasional daytime availability for private group classes.
We are hiring in all states, and are looking for Chicago pottery teachers and Bay Area pottery teachers, in particular.
Prior experience doing pottery or teaching isn't required, but is a bonus! In addition to reviewing our training materials, we have all of our teachers shadow one class, and assist in a few classes before they lead their first class as it helps you learn the class structure and essential pottery techniques.
Teachers and assistants create a fun, positive and supportive experience for guests. We organize the venue, handle all logistics and provide all necessary class materials.
