Whether you’ve created a piece from our ceramic clay kit or decorated a paint-your-own pottery bisqueware piece, proper kiln firing and glazing is essential to make it waterproof, food-safe, and long-lasting. Use our kiln & ceramic studio locator to find local pottery studios that can fire and glaze your creation.

Our Ceramic Clay must be fired to Cone 6 (2232°F). Expect to pay $15–$25 for the amount in each kit. Our bisqueware (Paint Your Own Pottery) is already pre-fired, but needs glaze firing at Cone 06 (1830°F). Expect to pay around $6–$15 per bisqueware piece.
